COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL: DARK HORSE COMICS ANNOUNCEMENTS

SAN DIEGO -- Abe Sapien will be taking center stage in his own mini-series next year, Dark Horse Comics announced on Thursday.

The five-issue mini-series will be written by Mike Mignola, with art by Jason Alexander and covers by Mignola.

The series will follow the BPRD agent on his first mission without Hellboy. Set in the early eighties, the series will give new insight into the character.

Dark Horse also announced that, in addition to the ongoing series, there will be new ongoing titles based on stories from Robert E. Howard. Expect more details soon.
