SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2006COMING MONDAYNews from Canadian Fan Expo -- and much more!!!
There weren't a lot of Big Guns at DC Comics' Big Guns panel at the Canadian Fan Expo on Sunday -- four, in fact -- but Geoff Johns brought plenty of ammunition.
Johns announced two major projects at the panel: All Star Batgirl with J.G. Jones and a Green Lantern project with Ethan Van Sciver.
Johns, Van Sciver, Terry Dodson and a late arriving Jim Lee were featured at the panel.

CANADIAN FAN EXPO: MIKE MIGNOLA PANEL
It took about 20 minutes, but Mike Mignola knew the question was coming.
"What's going on with the Hellboy sequel?"
Mignola smiled. "Well, that took a little longer than I thought for the first movie question," he said during his panel at the Canadian Fan Expo in Toronto on Saturday.
With the recent announcement of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army set up at Universal Pictures, the sequel quickly became a hot topic in a wide-ranging, question-and-answer session with the Hellboy creator.

CANADIAN FAN EXPO: GEOFF JOHNS PANEL At DC Comics' convention panels, Geoff Johns has a reputation of being fairly tight-lipped, not wanting to venture into spoilers territory.
But at his Comics Writing 101 panel at Canadian Fan Expo in Toronto on Saturday, Johns was a regular chatterbox, answering questions from a sizable throng of writing wannabes.
He also dropped a few morsels about his upcoming work.
