BLADE: THE SERIES SEASON FINALE

Blade: The Series completes its first season on Spike TV on Wednesday night with an episode titled "Conclave."

The season ends with the conclave of the vampire houses as Blade and Shen monitor the procedings. Based on the images and promos for the episode, there figures to be some big fights.

Executive producer David Goyer said that Kirk "Sticky" Jones, who plays Blade, improved his action-scene abilities as the season went on.

"Sticky's done an amazing job," Goyer said.

"I had to go through extensive martial arts training, kickboxing, trapped hands and wire work," Jones said. "Before that it was mostly boxing, but thatıs the foundation of all fighting. Plus, Iım a natural athlete by heart, so it was real easy."

Spike TV has yet to announce if there will be a second season.
