LEGION OF SUPER HEROES: "PHANTOMS"

"Phantoms," a new episode of Legion of Super Heroes, will premiere on Kids' WB! on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Here's how the episode is described:

In other Legion news, a source indicated to The Continuum that a second season for the series is "a good possibility." If a second season happens, Darkseid might be a major villain.

FAMILY GUY: "CHICK CANCER"

Drew Barrymore is providing a guest-voice in two episodes of Family Guy in November. She returns as Brian's hot-but-dumb girlfriend Jillian in "Chick Cancer," the Sunday, Nov. 26 episode on Fox.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"Stewie ties the knot with his old friend and fading child actress Olivia, but their relationship quickly turns into a traditional marriage filled with resentment and bickering, which comes to an ugly head when they join Brian and Jillian on a double date.

"Meanwhile, Lois introduces Peter to chick flicks, and he decides to make his own movie based on the plots of every girly movie ever made."

Barrymore's Jillian first appears in the Nov. 12 episode, "Whistle While Your Wife Works."

BRIEFLY

* Chronicles of Wormwood, a six-issue mini-series by Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows, launches in January from Avatar Press.

Here's how Avatar describes the book:

"Garth Ennis unleashes his next major religious epic in the vein of Preacher, but this-time, he's taking it up a notch! Danny Wormwood is having all the troubles of modern man, his TV shows have issues, he cheats on his wife and his rabbit talks back to him. But this poor sod also has to deal with the fact that his dad is Satan himself and Pope Jacko and the Catholic church are also raising Hell. Oh yeah, the Armageddon is about to start and Jesus is a right thicko, not much help there."
