ARCHIE COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: BETTY & VERONICA SPECTACULAR #76

Betty & Veronica Spectacular #76 will arrive in stores on Nov. 8 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Dan Parent and Mike Pellowski, with art by Parent and Stan Goldberg.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"'Jingle's Jangled!.' Betty and Veronica are smitten by the new hunk at school... just wait until they find out it's really Jingles, Santa's now ex-elf in disguise! Jingles hopes to get a taste of Archie's life, but soon realizes the snow isn't always whiter on the other side of the sleigh! 'Present Tense.' When Betty and Veronica spot Archie picking up a giant self-portrait at the photo shop, each thinks it's their Christmas gift!"

Betty & Veronica Spectacular #76 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.25.

FIRST LOOK: HOLIDAY FUN DIGEST #11

Holiday Fun Digest #11 will arrive in stores on Nov. 8 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Mike Pellowski and various, with art by Tim Kennedy and various.

Here's how Archie describes the book:

"Tis the season to be jolly as Archie and his friends celebrate in true holiday style! Archie and crew have long displayed their holiday spirit, and now through the magic of the digest series, many of the Christmas classics of old are re-presented along with new yuletide tales. It's a stocking-full of good holiday cheer you wonšt want to miss! 'Holiday Rush.' Betty and Veronica lament the fact that the stores seem to rush the holiday months before it hits...until Mr. Lodge gives them some early Christmas gifts! 'Gift Horse Laugh.' Sabrina the Teenage Witch #80 will arrive in stores on Nov. 8 from Archie Comics. The issue is by Tania del Rio.

"'Hidden Powers.' Fed up with constantly having to come up with a water-breathing spell so Llandra can visit merman Narayan, Sabrina works up a spell that will give Narayan legs instead!
