MARVEL COMICS' CIVIL WAR ONE-SHOTS

Marvel Comics on Wednesday announced that Civil War: Choosing Sides one-shot has sold out and released images from other upcoming Civil War one-shots.

According to Marvel, a decision about a second printing of Choosing Sides has not been made yet.

The upcoming one-shots include:

CIVIL WAR: WAR CRIMES

The Kingpin of Crime enters the War. Written by Frank Tieri, art by Staz Johnson, cover by Sean Scoffield.

48 pages, $3.99, in stores on Dec. 20.

WINTER SOLDIER: WINTER KILLS

The Winter Soldier faces off with both the Young Avengers and his former teammates the Invaders. Written by Ed Brubaker, art by Lee Weeks, cover by Steve Epting.

48 pages, $3.99, in stores on Dec. 13.

IRON MAN/CAPTAIN AMERICA: CASUALTIES OF WAR

A last-ditch effort made by the leaders of Civil War to put an end to the War could lead to making matters far worse. Written by Christos Gage, art by Jeremy Haun, covers by Jim Cheung.

RUDE DUDE TO PUBLISH NEXUS, THE MOTH

Steve Rude on Wednesday announced the formation of Rude Dude Productions, which will publish Nexus and The Moth. Plans are for four issus of each annually.

Mike Baron will script, Rude will draw and Gary Martin will ink the new four-isue series for Nexus, which will launch in July. Nexus was first published by Capital Comics in 1981 and was recently collected by Dark Horse Comics.

Baron described the new Nexus as "the most intense thing I have ever written" and promised far-ranging repercussions for Horatio Hellpop and his world.

Following Nexus will be Amazing Dude Tales, a 64-page anthology all drawn by Steve Rude. Writers include Mike Baron, F. Paul Wilson, Heidi MacDonald and Gary Martin.

Following Amazing Dude Tales, The Moth begins a four-issue run. The Moth, created by Rude and writer/inker Gary Martin, follows the adventures of circus strong man Jack Mahoney and is a traditional super-hero comic.
