HEROES UPDATE

Heroes' Masi Oka made three different appearances on NBC on Monday as the show continues to ride a wave of popularity.

Oka, 31, who Hiro, started the day with a live appearance on NBC's Today, along with co-star Milo Ventimiglia. The "Homecoming" episode of Heroes aired on Monday night and then Oka appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien on Monday night.

In other Heroes news:

* NBC has released 12 images from the "Fallout" episode, set to air on Monday, Dec. 4. Click on the thumbnails below for larger images.

* NBC continues to tout the series as the No. 1 new show in major adult demographics.

In adults 18-49, Heroes ranked No. 7 out of all 100 telecasts for the week of Nov. 13-19. In adults 25-54, Heroes was No. 8 and in adults 18-34, Heroes ranked No. 4. Among all programs in adults 18-34, only ABC's Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives and CBS' Sunday NFL post-game show topped Heroes.

THE BATMAN SCHEDULE

The Batman will continue to air on Cartoon Network on Saturdays at 8 p.m. through the end of the year, according to schedules provided to The Continuum.

Newly announced episodes included "Swamped" on Dec. 9, "Pets" on Dec. 16 and "Meltdown" on Dec. 23. The show will be pre-empted by a movie, Spirited Away, on Dec. 30.

Meanwhile, this Saturday's episode of The Batman on Kids' WB! will be a repeat of "The Everywhere Man," guest-starring Superman Returns' Brandon Routh and Smallville's Allison Mack.

Saturday's episode of Legion of Super Heroes on Kids' WB! will be a repeat of "Timber Wolf."

TOP COW COLLECTS HUNTER-KILLER

Top Cow Productions has released the cover art for the Hunter-Killer trade paperback, due in late February.

The 336-page book will collect the first 12 issues of Hunter-Killer, written by Mark Waid and featuring art by Marc Silvestri, Eric Basaldua and Kenneth Rocafort. Retailing for $24.99, it will include an exclusive look into Silvestri's sketchbook to see the behind-the-scenes development of the series.

"It's great to have this work under one cover," Waid said. "I'm very proud of how well it reads that way, and it's always a treat to have that many Marc Silvestri pages to pore over again and again.

"If you're just joining the world of Hunter-Killer, there's no better place to start."

* Marvel Comics is reporting that What If? Spider-Man: The Other has sold out.

* The Fountain's Hugh Jackman will be a guest on CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday night.

* The Invincible Iron Man movie will have a running time of 83 minutes.
