COMING SATURDAY

The Continuum begins nine days on the road with coverage of Mid-Ohio-Con.

GHOST RIDER'S MARK STEVEN JOHNSON: THE CONTINUUM INTERVIEW

You couldn't blame Mark Steven Johnson if he's seeing little flaming skulls in his sleep days. As the writer and director of the Ghost Rider movie, he's been working on the film for months and months as he draws closer to the Feb. 16 release.

Johnson recently appeared at Wizard World Texas, where he showed a nearly nine-minute clip from the film and answered questions from fans. (To read highlights of that, CLICK HERE).

After the panel and a poster signing session, Johnson sat down with The Continuum for a one-on-one interview.

YANCY BUTLER IN BASILISK: THE SERPENT KING

Yancy Butler, who starred in TNT's Witchblade television series, returns to science-fiction television on Saturday.

Butler plays Hannah in Basilisk: The Serpent King, a two-hour movie airing at 9 p.m. (ET) on Sci Fi.

Here's how Sci Fi describes the movie:

"When an ancient serpent statue discovered at an archaeological site comes to life during an eclipse, it turns into the terrifying mythical creature, the Basilisk. A lethal being that can turn its victims to stone with its stare, the Basilisk rampages through the city, leaving destruction in its wake. The only hope for survival lies within a team of archaeologists, who race to track down an elusive ancient scepter - the single object capable of destroying the creature once and for all."

The film is directed by Stephen Furst of Babylon 5 and Animal House fame.
