Sonic the Hedgehog #170 will arrive in stores on Dec. 28 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Ian Flynn and Mike Gallagher, with art by Tracy Yardley and Dave Manak and a cover by Yardley and Jim Amash.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"'Comings & Goings.' The countdown to the milestone 175th issue kicks off in royal style. In recent battles, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters have suffered some devastating losses... but how can they possibly withstand much more?
