PAINKILLER JANE TV UPDATE

Sci Fi Channel has begun to release details on Painkiller Jane, the new series starring Kristanna Loken as the character created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada.

* The series' executive producer/showrunner is Gil Grant, who most recently was consulting producer on 24 and showrunner for three seasons on NCIS.

Grant has created and executive produced several series including The Oldest Rookie, Covington Cross, McKenna and Hull High.

He was also the showrunner for The Cape, starring Corbin Bernson, and Relic Hunter, starring Tia Carrere.

* Noah Danby is playing Connor King.

Danby's film credits include Against the Ropes, The Tuxedo, Exit Wonds and The Book of Mormon Movie: The Journey. Television credits include Smallville, Mutant X, Queer As Folk, Stargate SG-1 and Andromeda.

* Rob Stewart is playing team leader Andre.

Stewart's television credits include Nick Slaughter in Sweating Bullets, as well as Sweet Deception, The Christmas List, The Annette Funicello Story, The Collector, Jake 2.0 and 5 Days to Midnight. Feature films include Kounterfeit, Someone to Die For, Motel Blue, An American Affair and The Pawn.

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED DVD

Warner Home Video has announced the extras for Justice League Unlimited: Season 2, a two-disc set due in stores on March 20.

The extras will include:

* "Cadmus Exposed:" Producer Bruce Timm and other key creative minds behind Justice League Unlimited gather for an informal discussion of the entire Cadmus storyline, from its revelation in "The Doomsday Sanction" to the shocker secret in "Epilogue." Mark Hamill, voice of The Joker and The Trickster, moderates the conversation.

* A chance to sneak into a private producer's screening with a trio of favorite episode acts from the final season of Justice League Unlimited as chosen by the producers. Creators of JLU will be watching the sequences, commenting on specific moments and also discussing the overriding themes and episode highlights of the season. Viewers will be able to see and hear them talk.

* Music only track of the episode "Destroyer," with an on-camera introduction by Timm.

HEROES: "GODSEND"

NBC has released 15 images from "Godsend," the next new episode of Heroes.

The episode is scheduled to air on Monday, Jan. 22.

In other Heroes news, Masi Oka, who plays Hiro, appeared on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday night.

Oka talked about his 180 I.Q. and his computer work at Industrial Light and Magic.

"I love using the left side and right side of the brain," he said. "And using them both in harmony."

Oka said that his scripts are in English and he translates them into Japanese himself.

He also brought along a clip from "Godsend," the second meeting between Hiro and Adrian Pasdar's Nathan Petrelli.
