MASTERPIECE COMICS' WILD BOYS
Masterpiece Comics will launch its first mini-series, Wild Boys: Dawn Of The Wild, in March. The four-issue mini-series will be published monthly through June.
Here's how the book is described:
"First, genetic engineers created them to fight wars, then politicians tried to destroy them out of fear. On the eve of an alien invasion no one saw coming, the Wild Boys weren't there. For 20 years since then, they've lived on the move and on their own, doing whatever they must to stay one step ahead of the conquering Jovarn, and the humans who once betrayed them. Among the humans, a small band of rebels know that the Wild Boys are their last hope for survival. The Wild Boys know it too.
"Their response: Humans be Damned."
"While Wild Boys is focused on seven super-powered individuals, they aren't super-heroes, aren't clean cut and don't wear costumes," said writer/creator Ace Masters. "And they don't care about helping anyone. They were created by humans, then betrayed. They want nothing to do with humanity or its fight against the alien Jovarn who have conquered the world."
Wild Boys: Dawn Of The Wild will be illustrated by Irapuan.
