MARVEL ANIMATION: THE FUTURE

The Invincible Iron Man movie, out on DVD on Tuesday, is just one of several animated projects from Marvel Studios and partners in the next two years.

The Continuum recently visited the offices of MLG Productions -- where Marvel and Lionsgate are teaming up on their current direct-to-DVD films -- and talked with Marvel Studios' Eric S. Rollman, who oversees Marvel's animation and live-action television projects.

Sitting in a room with designs for the Teen Avengers movie on the walls, Rollman dropped details on Marvel's upcoming animated projects.

KEVIN SPACEY TALKS SUPERMAN SEQUEL

Kevin Spacey, who played Lex Luthor in Superman Returns, indicated he'll be coming back for a sequel during an appearance Monday on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman.

"The film was a big hit and we're going to do another one in a couple of years," Spacey said at the beginning of his segment.

Spacey said filming Superman Returns "was a ball."

"It was a lot of fun and I rather enjoy shaving my head every day," he said with a laugh.

Spacey also made fun of the question he was asked over and over again during the Superman Returns press events: "If you had a super-power..." he said with an over-the-top accent.

Superman Returns director Bryan Singer is returning for the sequel and is targeting a 2009 release.
