PAINKILLER JANE'S KRISTANNA LOKEN

Kristanna Loken, star of Sci Fi's upcoming Painkiller Jane series, said the final four episodes of the first season will be filmed in Hungary.

Loken, who was featured in a conference call on Tuesday afternoon, said the episodes will include the place where neutralized Neuros are taken as well as a major character from the season's early episodes.

The series, based on the Events Comics character created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, is currently in production in Vancouver, with more than half of the show's 22 episodes having been filmed.

Also during the conference call, Loken said the production of the episode written by Palmiotti will begin this week. Loken said that Palmiotti will be on set to help with any script revisions and that she'll be having lunch with him this weekend to talk about the series' progress.

Palmiotti is also slated to direct an episode.

Painkiller Jane will kick off with an episode called "Painkiller Jane" on Friday, April 13 that shows how Jane becomes involved with the covert government agency that hunts down Neuros as well as how she discovers her healing powers.

Look for much more on Loken and Painkiller Jane soon here in The Continuum.
