SPIDER-MAN 3 ROUNDUP

A new promotional spot for Spider-Man 3 will target younger movie-goers and features the most prominent look to date at Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy.

The commercial shows Peter Parker interacting with a bunch of kids before a video screen featuring Spider-Man and then more kids cheering during a Spider-Man celebration. Spidey, introduced by Gwen, appears at the event, swinging through the crowd and high-fiving as he goes along.

The spot also shows more of the first Spider-Man/Sandman confrontation during Sandman's armored car heist, followed by Peter Parker shaking sand out of his Spidey costume.

In other Spider-Man 3 news:

* The film has been rated PG-13, just as Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 were rated.

* General Mills has begun its promotion, featuring Spider-Man on its cereal boxes.
