PAINKILLER JANE'S KRISTANNA LOKEN

Kristanna Loken is probably best known as the Terminatrix from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, but that might be changing soon.

Loken continues her run of action roles as the title character in Painkiller Jane, the Sci Fi Channel series that is based on the comic book and is scheduled to premiere on Friday.

The Continuum was part of a conference call late last week with Loken.

GHOST RIDER ON DVD

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a June 12 release for Ghost Rider on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and PSP.

Two versions will be released on DVD: a one-disc theatrical version and a two-disc extended cut.

The DVD bonus feature "Spirit of Vengeance: The Making of Ghost Rider" will include commentary with director/writer Mark Steven Johnson. The Extended Cut also includes "Sin and Salvation," which delves into the history of the Ghost Rider comics and how it became a hit. Animatics are also featured.

The Extended Cut of Ghost Rider includes an additional 15 minutes of never-before-seen footage. Additional scenes include more backstory between Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) and his father, additional scenes between Johnny and Mephistopheles (Peter Fonda) and an intense confrontation between the Caretaker (Sam Elliot) and Blackheart (Wes Bentley).
