PAINKILLER JANE: "TOY SOLDIERS"

Sci Fi has released seven images and a description from "Toy Soldiers," the Friday, April 20 episode of Painkiller Jane.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"A string of thefts from military stockpiles puts Jane and the team on high alert leading up to a presidential visit. But when corpses begin to disappear from nearby cemeteries -- seemingly all on their own -- and the thefts expand to include sporting goods warehouses, Jane starts piecing together the clues to an unlikely Neuro."

"Toy Soldiers" was written by Lawrenece Hertzog and directed by Michael Robison.

SMALLVILLE: "NOIR"

The CW as released a description of "Noir," the Thursday, May 3 episode of Smallville.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"In a special Film Noir episode shot partially in black and white, Jimmy sees what life in Smallville would have been like in the 1940s. After a secret meting with Lionel (John Glover), Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is shot at the Daily Planet by a mysterious gunman. Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) is knocked out while studying photographs of the scene and dreams about a 1940s version of Smallville in which Lana is a femme fatale who orchestrated the murder of her tycoon husband Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), Clark (Tom Welling) works at the Daily Planet as a reporter and Lois (Erica Durance) is a sultry singer working at a bar owned by Lionel.

"Meanwhile, back in 2007, Clark discovers why Lana married Lex."

"Noir" was written by Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders and was directed by Jeannot Szwarc.

* 300 continues to close in on the $200-million mark, earning an estimated $1.2 million on Friday to place 12th and push its total to $197.7 million.

* Fred Tatasciore, who provided the voice of the Hulk in the two Ultimate Avengers movies and the Mandarin in Invincible Iron Man, is providing the voice of Beast in the upcoming Wolverine and the X-Men animated series.
