SPIDER-MAN 3 UPDATE

As part of the Spider-Man 3 press junket in Los Angeles, Sony Pictures on Thursday released several new images, including the image above from the film's climatic battle.

The Continuum will be part of a screening on Thursday night and interviews on Friday. Look for daily coverage beginning today.

* Below is a look at the Spider-Man 3 contingent that appeared at the film's world premiere in Japan earlier this week.

* Spider-Man 3 star Tobey Maguire was a guest on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday night. A clip of the aerial fight between Peter Parker and Harry Osborn was shown.





SMALLVILLE: "PROTOTYPE"

The CW has relased eight images from "Prototype," the Thursday, May 10 episode of Smallville.

The images show guest-star Tahmoh Penikett as Wes, along with cast regulars Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Annette O'Toole as Martha Kent and John Glover as Lionel Luthor.

The network has yet to release a description of the episode.
