SUNDAY, APRIL 22, 2007LEGION OF SUPER HEROES: "SUNDOWN, PART 1"The first part of "Sundown," the two-part season finale of Legion of Super Heroes, is scheduled for Saturday, April 28.
Here's how the episode is described:
"The Legion is put to the ultimate test when an ancient weapon known as a Sun Eater comes to life. The Legion mounts a heroic defense, but the Sun Eater proves too powerful. Now at full strength, the unstoppable Sun Eater sets its sights on Earth..."
"It's an adaptation of the famous Sun-Eater story," Legion producer James Tucker told The Continuum. "It's not a literal adaptation, but I think even with the liberties, all the key points of that classic story are still there.
"I think it's a kick-ass story. It looks awesome. It's the Legion fighting valiantly against an unstoppable foe and one Legionairre may be lost -- question mark."

SPIDER-MAN 3 ROUNDUPThe beginning of a worldwide tour to promote the film, Spider-Man 3's world premiere in Tokyo was greeted with throngs of adoring fans.
At the Spider-Man press junket over the weekend in Beverly Hills, stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace all noted the overwhelming response of the Japanese fans.
The event was held at the Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills last Monday.
"They are just crazy about Spider-Man over there," said Grace, who plays Eddie Brock/Venom.
Dunst, who returns as Mary Jane, said she arrived a little early in Japan to do some sight-seeing. "I love Japan," she said.

BRIEFLY* Zenescope Entertainment has announced that Dyno Force #0 will not be shipping on Free Comic
Book Day. Due to undisclosed legal reasons, Zenescope is working with
Diamond to relist the issue along with #1 at a discounted rate of 50
centers per book.
"We're very disappointed that we will be unable to ship the FCBD issue of Dyno Force to retailers in time for the event," said Zenescope co-founder Joe Brusha. "We are still very excited about this series and we still plan to stick with a low cover price over the first few issues. This will give retailers a great product they can turn their
customers on to without taking the risk they normally have to with an
independent book."
