FX, which already has secured X-Men: The Last Stand and Superman Returns, has landed the television rights to Spider-Man 3.

According to Variety, the final license fee depends on how much money Spider-Man 3 makes in U.S. theaters but could be as large as $40 million.

FX will premiere Spider-Man in 2009. The network also had an exclusive rights window to Spider-Man 2, and Variety reported the April 30 showing drew more than 1 million viewers in the 18-49 age group.

In other Spider-Man 3 news:

* Following its $151.1 million opening weekend, the film pulled in $10.3 million domestically on Monday to push its total to $161.4 million.

* Diamond Select has released images of three upcoming products.

The Spider-Man 3: Spider-Man Statue measures 12 inches statue and features the Wallcrawler hanging from a streetlight, ready to swing into action. It is scheduled to ship August 29.

The Spider-Man 3: Sandman Maquette measures 9 inches and shows the villain poised to strike. It is also scheduled to ship August 29.

Spider-Man 3: Death of Eddie Brock Statue is 12 inches tall and features Spider-Manšs dark mirror image locked in battle with the hero, and recreates the last moments of Eddie Brock, host of the alien symbiote. The statue is scheduled to ship Sept. 26.

* Zenescope Entertainment has announced that Return to Wonderland #0 has sold out at Diamond. A second printing of the issue featuring a wraparound cover that combines both of the original covers will be released.

* According to Variety, Tim Roth has been cast as Emil Bronsky, aka the Abomination, for The Incredible Hulk movie.

* DC Comics has announced that The Spirit #2 has sold out. According to the publisher, there are no plans to go back to press on the issue.
