MARVEL COMICS TOPS APRIL SALES

Marvel Comics again topped the sales charts and had the top-selling book for April, according to figures released by Diamond on Monday.

Marvel had 40.56 percent of the dollar share, to 34.34 percent for DC Comics, and had 37.62 percent of the market share to 34.43 percent for DC.

Top 10 books for the monther were, in order Fallen Son: Death of Captain America -- Wolverine, Justice League of America #7, Fallen Son: Death of Captain America -- Avengers, Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born #3, Justice League of America #8, Avengers: The Initiative #1, New Avengers #29, Mighty Avengers #2, Wolverine #52 and Justice Society of America #5.

BRIEFLY

* Top Cow Production has provided The Continuum a look at the cover for Endgame Volume 1 Trade Paperback, a 160-page collection target for a July release.

The trade collects Tomb Raider #25, Witchblade #60, Evo #1, as well as the Endgame Prelude and Epilogue issues and additional bonus material leading into and out of the crossover.
