LEGION OF SUPER HEROES DVD

Warner Home Video has announced that the Legion of Super Heroes Vol. 1 DVD will include an interview with Paul Levitz, president and publisher of DC Comics and former Legion comics writer.

Levitz will be spotlighted on the "We Are Legion" featurette.

The disc, due in stores on August 28 with a price of $14.97, will collect the first four episode of the Kids' WB! animated series: "Man of Tomorrow," "Timber Wolf," "Legacy" and "Phantoms."

In other Legion news:

* The show will be part of a McDonald's Happy Meal promotion in August.

* Upcoming episodes on Kids' WB! include "Timber Wolf" on June 2, "Legacy" on June 9, "Fear Factory" on June 16, "Champions" on June 23 and "Child's Play" on June 30.

* Lightning Lad will take center stage in one of the second season's early episodes.

SPIDER-MAN 3 ROUNDUP

Spider-Man 3 is launching Fathead's Heroes line of life-size vinyl wall graphics.

The Spider-Man 3 line will include two images of Spider-Man in his traditional red and blue costume and one in his black suit. All three include five to six Spider-Man-related peel-and-stick elements.

The life-size Spider-Man Fathead products range from 2 to 4 feet wide and 3.5 to 4 feet high.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to launch our Heroes line with one of the most popular comic book figures of all-time," said Brock Weatherup, CEO of Fathead. "The Spider-Man wall graphics give fans a chance to experience the movie even when they are not at the theater. Fans will be able to enjoy the spectacular imagery from the movie in their favorite room with Spider-Man looking as he is ready to come off the wall."

BRIEFLY

* Virgin Comics and Studio 18 announced on Tuesday that they are forming a new production relationship to create a slate of teen horror properties for films, television, games and publishing.

The new stories, will be co-created and co-owned by Virgin and Studio 18 and initially be released as graphic novels to be published worldwide by Virgin. The partnership anticipates an ongoing slate of teen horror properties to be created each year with the first comic book expected to release end of 2007.

* DC Comics has re-solicited Testament #19 for a July 25 release.
