Dark Xena #2 will arrive in stores on May 31 from Dynamite Entertainment. The issue is written by John Layman, with art by Noah Salonga and covers by Stjepan Sejic, Jonathan Lau and Fabiano Neves.
Here's how Dynamite describes the issue:
"Gabrielle and Joxer concoct a plan! A plan to infiltrate Xena and her her ruthless criminal companions. Can Gabby and Joxer find their way in, convert Xena and not lose their heads in the process? Plus the return of Ares!"
Dark Xena #2 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

FIRST LOOK: MARVEL ILLUSTRATED: TREASURE ISLAND #1
Marvel Illustrated: Treasure Island #1 will arrive in stores on June 13 from Marvel Comics. The issue is adapted by Roy Thomas, with art by Mario Gully and a cover by Greg Hildebrandt
Here's how Marvel describes the issue:
"Featuring Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale of buried treasure and high-adventure on the great seas, Treasure Island follows Jim Hawkins, sole protector of the fortune hidden with his father by pirate Billy Bones. The young Hawkins must now protect the treasure from the scurvy scoundrels in Bones' crew who've decided that it's time to get rich!"
