TRANSFORMERS BOX OFFICE

Transformers topped the box office over the weekend with an estimated $67.6 million, pushing its first-week total to $152.5 million.

The film, from DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures, opened on Monday night to generally positive reviews.

Ratatouille placed second with $29.0 over the weekend.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer placed eighth in its fourth week of release with $4.1 million, pushing its total to $123.8 million.

Spider-Man 3 was 16th in its 10th week of release with $0.3 million, pushing its total to $334.4 million.



WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPER HERO?: "MAGIC MOUNTAIN"

Sci Fi Channel has released seven images from "Magic Mountain," the second episode of the second season of What Wants To Be A Super Hero?.

The episode is scheduled to debut on Thursday, August 2 at 9 p.m.

Who Wants To Be A Super Hero? will be featured at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday, July 28 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. (PT). Guests will include host and executive producer Stan Lee, executive producer Andy Scheer, 2006 winner Feedback and 2007 contestants Hygena and Hyperstrike.
