BRIEFLY

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Laura Ziskin and director Sam Raimi will be meeting with Sony executives to discuss the future of the Spider-Man movie franchise.

* The Friday, July 27 episode of Sci Fi Channel's Painkiller Jane is titled "The Healer."

* Marvel Comics has announced that it will release a second printing for the sold-out Thor #1. The new printing, which will feature interior art by Olivier Coipel on the cover, will be in stores on August 8.

* Look for Rob Liefeld to return to Image Comics with a Youngblood Hardcover in October.

* Konami announced that its Hellboy: The Science of Evil video game will feature the voices of Ron Perlman as Hellboy, Selma Blair as Liz Sherman and Doug Jones as Abe Sapien. Developed by Krome Studios, Hellboy: The Science of Evil is planned for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system and PSP system this fall.

* According to Variety, TNT has purchased the cable rights to 300 for $17 million. TNT will debut 300 in September 2009, after an 18-month window for HBO.
