SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN UPDATE

Dee Bradley Baker is providing the voice of Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard in Kids' WB!'s upcoming The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series.

Baker, 44, has dozens of voice credits, including American Dad, Teen Titans, Justice League, Ben 10, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Darkness video game.

Connors will appear in multiple episodes of Spider-Man.

Neither Kids' WB!, Sony nor Marvel are confirming any of the roles for the series.

On his web site, Josh Keaton has confirmed that he is providing the voices of Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

Keaton will be attending the Spider-Man panel at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 27.

Others scheduled to appear are supervising producer Greg Weisman, producer/supervising director Victor Cook, character designer Sean Galloway and Marvel Studios' Craig Kyle.

TRANSFORMERS BOX OFFICE

Transformers placed second at the box office over the weekend, crossing the $200-million mark.

The film pulled in an estimated $36.0 million, pushing its total to $222.9 million.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was No. 1 with $77.4 million.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer placed 11th with $1.6 million, pushing its total to $127.1 million.

BRIEFLY

* Fox Home Entertainment has announced an Oct. 9 DVD release for 28 Weeks Later. The DVD's special features include 28 Days Later: The Aftermath flash-animated segments, based on the Fox Atomic Comics graphic novel bridging the storyline between the two films.
