MARVEL COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: CAPTAIN AMERICA #30

Captain America #30 will arrive in stores on Sept. 19 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Ed Brubaker, with art by Steve Epting and Mike Perkins and a cover by Epting.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"It's the Winter Soldier versus everyone in the conclusion to the first arc of the 'Death of Captain America' storyline. Winter Soldier versus Crossbones - the man who sniped Cap! Winter Soldier versus S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony Stark's hand-picked Mighty Avengers operative! Winter Soldier versus the Red Skull! And finally - the Winter Soldier versus himself!"

Captain America #30 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

FIRST LOOK: WOLVERINE: ORIGINS #17

Wolverine: Origins #17 will arrive in stores on Sept. 12 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Daniel Way, with art by Steve Dillon and a cover by Marko Djurdjevic.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"'Our War,' part 2 of 5. It's 1942 and Logan has traveled to occupied France to take Cap up on his offer -- problem is, Cap already has a partner. Needless to say, Bucky isn't exactly thrilled to find out that he wasn't Cap's first choice. Who is this scruffy outlaw, anyway? And why is he here, now? What's his stake in all this? All very good questionsŠ"
