ARCHIE COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: SONIC X #24

Sonic X #24 will arrive in stores on Sept. 12 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Ian Flynn and various, with art and cover by Tracy Yardley and Jim Amash.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"'Camera Hog.' When Sonic, Knuckles, Amy and Tails give an entertaining and astonishing demonstration of their amazing abilities on Station Square TV, Eggman is watching! Actually, he does more than watch -- a mysterious new robot he has created downloads all of their abilitiesŠ along with a few extra talents it witnesses. Of course, Eggman plans to send the souped-up robot out to destroy our star-struck heroes. Can Knothole Village's media darlings possibly defeat an enemy that does all they can do and more? "

Sonic X #24 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.25.

FIRST LOOK: JUGHEAD & FRIENDS DIGEST #23

Jughead & Friends Digest #23 will arrive in stores on Sept. 12 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Fernando Ruiz and others, with art by Ruiz and others.

Here's how Archie describes the issue:

"'The Real World?': Finally, a scientific invention that can truly aid the entire free world: Dilton's 'infinite closet!' Once Jughead sees it, the possibilities his mind conjures are infinite, too... and inevitably, he falls right in before Dilton's warnings reach his ears! Betty #168 will arrive in stores on Sept. 12 from Archie Comics. The issue is written by Kathleen Webb and George Gladir, with art by Stan Goldberg.
