THE SIMPSONS: "HOMER OF SEVILLE"

Maya Rudolph of Saturday Night Live and Placido Domingo are providing guest-voices for "Homer of Seville," the Sunday, Sept. 30 episode of The Simpsons on Fox.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"Homer injures himself in a fall, and while in the hospital he develops the ability to sing in a beautiful, operatic voice whenever he is lying on his back. Mr. Burns overhears Homer during one of his singing sessions at the hospital and immediately hires him to sing the lead in his production of 'La Bohème.'

"Although Homer has to lie down during the performance, he wows the crowd at the Springfield Opera House. Homer becomes an enormous celebrity, especially with the ladies -- much to Marge¹s chagrin. While running from a mob of crazed fans, Homer is saved by a mysterious woman named Julia (Rudolph), who turns out to be a little too concerned for Homer¹s well-being."

CATACOMBS ON FEARNET

Catacombs, a movie directed and written by Tomm Coker and David Elliot, will be FEARnet's first original movie event in October.

Catacombs will premiere on FEARnet's digital cable video-on-demand channel on Oct. 1 and on FEARnet.com online destination on Oct. 31 -- which also marks the first anniversary of the multi-platform horror network.

Catacombs is a suspense thriller about a young woman on a trip to the world's most romantic city who soon finds herself lost deep beneath the streets of Paris. As she gets entangled in the 200-mile labyrinth, she discovers she is being hunted in a deadly game.

The cast features Shannyn Sossomon and Pink (Alecia Moore).

Ford Lytle Gilmore is co-executive producer.

In related news, Coker drew the double-sized Moon Knight #13, which is due in stores on Oct. 24 from Marvel Comics.
