LEGION OF SUPER HEROES: "THE MAN FROM THE EDGE OF TOMORROW, PT. 2"

Kids' WB! has provided The Continuum five images from "The Man From The Edge Of Tomorrow, Pt. 2," this Saturday's ne episode of Legion of Super Heroes.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"The Legion has returned from the 41st Century with Kell-El, a genetically enhanced Superman clone. But Imperiex, the destroyer of galaxies, has reached the 31st Century first -- and unleashed all of the Legion's greatest enemies. To restore order and combat this near-invincible foe, the Legion will once again turn to the past for help in the form of an older, more mature Superman with far greater grasp of his powers."

BIONIC WOMAN EPISODES

NBC has released descriptions of upcoming episodes in October of its new series Bionic Woman.

Following is a rundown:

* "Paradise Lost" on Wednesday, Oct. 3: After Jaime experiences another devastating loss, she encounters a stranger who befriends her. Later, she discovers the stranger is Antonio Pope, who works for the Berkut Group and the meeting was deliberate. As Jamie struggles to balance her secret new life while trying to maintain some normalcy at home with her sister, Becca, Jaime finds herself in harm's way on her first mission.

* "Sisterhood" on Wednesday, Oct. 10: Jaime is tasked by the Berkut Group to watch the daughter of a Canadian defense contractor. At the same time, she must decide whether or not she is going to help Sarah Corvus, the first bionic woman, save herself.

* "Face Off" on Wednesday, Oct. 17: Jaime, while on a mission to rescue an American doctor working in Paraguay, discovers the truth about her bionic lifespan.

* In related news, Isaiah Washington, who plays Antonio Pope, will be appear on NBC's Today on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

HEROES RATINGS

The second-season premiere of NBC's Heroes was Monday night's No. 1 show in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49, according to NBC from preliminary viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

In the key 18-49 category, Heroes jumped 10 percent above the show's series premiere last year on September 25, 2006.

Last night at 9 p.m. ET, Heroes had a 6.5 rating and 15 share in adults 18-49 and 14.1 million viewers overall.

Heroes delivered the highest 18-49 rating for any entertainment telecast on any network since the season finale of Fox's House on May 29.

In other Heroes news, NBC has released a new promotional image of the cast.

* Marvel Comics has released page previews from the concluding chapters of the "Endangered Species" story, which will run in Uncanny X-Men #491, X-Factor #24, New X-Men #43 and X-Men #204.

In the story, Beast turns to magic to try to reverse the effects of M-Day.
