LEGION OF SUPER HEROES UPDATE"Chained Lightning," this Saturday's new episode of Legion of Super Heroes on Kids' WB!, figures to be one of the more character-driven episodes of Season 2.
The episode was written by Matt Wayne, who also wrote two of Season 1's episodes.
"We've got an all-new take on the Ranzz siblings in this episode, one that shakes up Lightning Lad and deepens his mythos," Wayne said. "Longtime fans will either cheer or call for our heads."
Wayne, whose recent credits include Justice League Unlimited and Hellboy: Sword of Storms, as well as the Justice League Unlimited comic book, is a writer for the upcoming The Spectacular Spider-Man. He is also working on BET's Hannibal and Cartoon Network's Ben 10: Alien Force.
Kids' WB! has released a new image from "Chained Lightning," which will also include the most prominent appearance by Shrinking Violet (voiced by Kari Wahlgren) to date. Click on the thumbnail for a larger image.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

However, after the lead actress, Rachel Davenport (guest-star Christina Milian) takes off in stunt car with cut brakes, Clark (Tom Welling) must step in to stop the runaway car. Unfortunately, an obsessed fan witnesses this heroic event and decides Clark is a real life superhero, whose girlfriend Lana (Kristin Kreuk) must be eliminated so Clark can fulfill his destiny.
"Meanwhile, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Lionel (John Glover) at the cabin."
The episode was written by Caroline Dries and directed by Mairzee Almas.
