BRIEFLY

* La-La Land Records will release the soundtrack for Superman: Doomsday on Oct. 23. The soundtrack features composer Robert J. Kral, whose credits include Angel, The Dresden Files and The Lost Room.

"At the outset, the thought of scoring for Superman Doomsday was not only an immense thrill but also something of a daunting prospect," Kral said. "Who hasnšt heard of Superman? While I was ecstatic over discovering I would write music for one of his biggest, most legendary adventures, I was also keenly aware of the responsibility at hand in scoring such an event."

* The Ghost Rider movie will be available through Starz's OnDemand service beginning Wednesday, Dec. 12.

* Kate Higgins is providing the voice of the Scarlet Witch for the upcoming Wolverine and the X-Men animated series.
