FIRST LOOK: GROO: HELL ON EARTH #1

Groo: Hell on Earth #1 will arrive in stores on Oct. 31 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Mark Evanier, with art and cover by Sergio Aragones.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"'Groo is back . . . and oddly enough, that may not be the biggest disaster looming over the world. It seems to be getting hotter everywhere . . . that is, in those places where it isn't getting colder than ever before. The first chapter of what will eventually be four issues. That is, if the planet in the comic survives that long!"

Groo: Hell on Earth #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

FIRST LOOK: NOVA #8

Nova #8 will arrive in stores on Nov. 14 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with art by Wellinton Alves and a cover by Adi Granov.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"The next big Nova arc blasts off here! In the first four sold-out issues, we've seen Richard Rider burnt to a crisp, replaced by a hot Kree soldier and turned to the dark side. Now a special spooky two-parter begins!"
