SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2007SCOTT PORTER TALKS JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIEScott Porter, a cast member of NBC's Friday Night Lights, told The Continuum that reports that he has been cast as Superman in the Justice League movie are "purely rumor and speculcation."
Porter said he auditioned for the role of The Flash for the film, which is being directed by George Miller.
Warner Bros. has not announced any casting for the film.
Porter sat down with The Continuum on Sunday at Wizard World Texas to discuss the film, his audition and the possibility of him playing Superman.

WIZARD WORLD TEXAS: SMALLVILLE'S LAURA VANDERVOORTThe addition of Supergirl to Smallville apparently is quite popular.
Laura Vandervoort, who plays Kara as the new addition of the cast in Season 7 of The CW series, appeared at Wizard World Texas in Arlington on Saturday.
Flying in from Vancouver, where production on Smallville for the time being continues during the Writers Guild strike, Vanderoort drew long and enthusiastic lines for her signing, as long as the Texas show has seen.
She is scheduled to be featured in a panel on Sunday at noon (Central).
