* Archie Comics.
BRIEFLY * Marvel Comics has announced that Thor #4 has sold out and will go back to press. The second printing will feature a cover of Oliver Coipel's interior page of Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun and will be in stores on Dec. 19.
* Victor Gorelick has been named Archie Comics' new editor-in-chief and Mike Pellerito as its new managing editor.
* DC Comics has expanded the announcement made last weekend at Wizard World Texas regarding The Starman Omnibus series featuring the writing of James Robinson.
The series of six volumes will begin in May. The series will feature new covers by Tony Harris, and will measure 6.75 inches by 10.25 inches. Collecting the entire Starman series, plus the Starman Annuals, Secret Files, 80-Page Giant, The Shade mini-series and more, these volumes include stories illustrated by Harris, Peter Snejbjerg, Chris Sprouse, J.H. Williams III, Phil Jimenez, Gene Ha, Guy Davis, Teddy Kristiansen, Lee Weeks and many others, as well as several stories co-written by David Goyer.
The first volume will be 448 pages, collecting Starman #0 and 1-16, with a cover price of $49.99.
* DC has announced updated contents for Batman and The Outsiders #3, due in stores on Dec. 19.
Here's how DC describes the issue, written by Chuck Dixon, with art by Julian Lopez and Bit and a cover by Eric Battle and Art Thibert:
"The mysterious REMAC entity is brought back to Batmanšs lab for further inspection, and the Outsiders get a surprise housecall from none other than the Justice League! But when tensions heat up, will this seemingly friendly visit turn into something far worse? This action-packed issue guest-stars Hawkgirl, Geo-Force and Black Lightning."
* DC has pushed back Batman Confidential #12 to Feb. 6.
