THE SIMPSONS: "ETERNAL MOONSHINE OF THE SIMPSON MIND"

Fox has released an image and description from "Eternal Moonshine of The Simpson Mind," the Sunday, Dec. 16 episode of The Simpsons.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"Homer wakes up one morning only to find himself outdoors and covered with snow. With no recollection of what happened the night before, aside from a lingering hangover, Homer makes his way home only to find his entire family missing. Hopelessly confused, Homer makes his way to Moe's bar, where Moe reveals that Homer drank a 'Forget-Me-Shot' the night before -- a drink is so potent, it wipes out a the last 24 hours of one's memory.

"When Wiggum informs Homer of a domestic disturbance at his house the night before, Homer begins to worry that he may have done something awful. As he probes his cloudy memory to unravel the mystery, Homer turns to Professor Frink, who hooks him up to a device that allows him to explore his memories, and he interacts with his Memory Family to piece together the night's events."

* Battlestar Galactica: Razor helped Sci Fi Channel to its best November ratings. The Nov. 24 debut of the movie delivered a 1.21 household rating and 1,723,000 total viewers.

* IDW Publishing announced it will release the first complete collection of Noel Sickles' Scorchy Smith next summer with a hardcover edition entitled Scorchy Smith and the Art of Noel Sickles. The deluxe edition showcases every panel drawn by the author and illustrator, who is regarded as the individual responsible for putting the John Terry-created strip on the map.

Scorchy Smith, which ran in newspapers from 1930-1961, was drawn by many artists. It featured a pilot-for-hire who traveled the nation doing everything from battling spies to busting up bands of cattle rustlers.

Though Sickles only drew the strip from 1933 to 1936, taking the lead when Terry fell ill, it was his cinematic-style art that made it one of the most popular and influential comic strips of its era and beyond.

The book will be 352 pages.
