MARVEL COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: WOLVERINE: FIREBREAK

Wolverine: Firebreak will arrive in stores on Dec. 19 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Mike Carey, with art and cover by Scott Kolins.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"Everyone knows that Wolverine is an expert tracker, but what about when he's been blinded? The fighting Canadian must lead a vacationing family out of the woods, using only his four remaining senses and the help of that same family. Things get more complicated, however, with a visit from Advanced Idea Mechanics. Also: a special back-up story by Macon Blair and Vasilis Lolos."

Wolverine: Firebreak will be 48 pages and will cost $3.99.

FIRST LOOK: MARVEL ILLUSTRATED: PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY #1

Marvel Illustrated: Picture of Dorian Gray #1 will arrive in stores on Dec. 26 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Roy Thomas, with art by Sebastian Fiumara and a cover by Gerald Parel.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"Young Dorian wished that his portrait would bear the marks of age rather than his face. Much to his shock, the painting is, in fact, aging -- and Gray is not! While Dorian's face is unchanging, his personality is in ugly ways. He's becoming cruel and secretive, showing a sadistic side of himself that is making those around him fear for their very lives!"

Marvel Illustrated: Picture of Dorian Gray #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.
