BRIEFLY

* The Thursday, Jan. 10 episode of The CW's Smallville will be a repeat of "Lara," guest-starring movie Supergirl Helen Slater.

* Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy will be established in the first episode of Kids' WB!'s The Spectacular Spider-Man, targeted for a March launch.

* Marvel Comics has released both covers -- with trade dress -- for X-Men #206, on sale on Dec. 28.

* I Am Legend placed second at the box office over the weekend with an estimated $34.2 million, pushing its total to $137.4 million.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets, starring Nicolas Cage, topped the box office with $45.5 million and narrowly beat Cage's best previous opening with Ghost Rider, which drew $45.4 million in its first three days.
