FIRST LOOK: RESURRECTION #1

Resurrection #3 will arrive in stores on Dec. 28 from Oni Press. The issue is written by Marc Guggenheim, with art by David Dumeer.

Here's how Oni describes the issue:

"In the tradition of timeless science fiction films like The Day The Earth Stood Still and War Of The Worlds, Resurrection is the story of an alien race come to conquer. But while those classic tales focus on the invasion, Resurrection starts when those stories end. After years of conflict the aliens are gone and the planet is safe, or is it? Who ended the war? How did they do it? Where do we go from here? Resurrection uncovers both the secrets of humanity's survival and its impending future."

Resurrection #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $3.50.

Proof #3 will arrive in stores on Dec. 28 from Image Comics. The issue is written by Alex Grecian, with art and cover by Riley Rossmo.

Here's how Image describes the issue:

"When he sees what's in El Chupacabra's cave, will it be enough to push Proof over the edge? Meanwhile, Ginger investigates the growing mystery behind the missing hikers and Sheriff Elvis Chestnut loiters outside the women's restroom. As if that weren't enough, The Dover Demon hosts a special preview of upcoming events and highlights from Proof's life."
