FIRST LOOK: NEW AVENGERS ANNUAL #2

New Avengers Annual #2 will arrive in stores on Jan. 23 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Brian Michael Bendis, with art by Carlo Pagulayan and a cover by Jim Cheung.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"The Hood takes his army to the New Avengers' door for the battle royale! Continuing the action from New Avengers #37 in this double-sized action extravaganza! Wrapping up -- and tying into -- threads from Civil War, World War Hulk, both the Avengers titles and leading into this year's event, Secret Invasion. The final chapter of 'The Trust,' a storyline kicked off with the shocking revelation of a Skrull posing as Elektra in New Avengers #31."

New Avengers Annual #2 will be 48 pages and will cost $3.99.
