Red 5 Comics has announced that Atomic Robo will return as a continuing series this fall.

Writer Brian Clevinger and artist Scott Wegener are on board for 20 issues over the next three years.

"We couldn't be happier to be able to share more of Robo's adventures," Clevinger said. "I can promise more explosions and more punching, but the two are probably unrelated. Punching things until they explode is just bad strategy, even for a robot."

Atomic Robo will be featured in Red 5's Free Comic Book Day relase on May 3 in a new 16-page battle against Russian Comm-bots in the 1960s.

Atomic Robo #1 has sold out of its first and second printings (more than 8,000 copies) and #2-5 have sold out. Atomic Robo #6 will be in stores on March 12.
