* Gage is writing an Avengers: The Initiative special that will feature Kimodo and Hardball. It is drawn by Steve Uy.

* Slott noted that Avengers: The Initiative #7 will end up being "a very important issue."

* Quesada said there is still a payoff to come with the dissolution of the Peter and Mary Jane marriage and events in the story.

He said that between Mary Jane and Peter Parker's last kiss in the final part of "One More Day" and Peter Parker waking up in Aunt May's house in Queens in the epilogue, "It could have been a week, it could have been a month, it could have been six months," noting that Marvel will fill up that gap.

* Asked about Ben Reilly, Brevoort said, "Ben Reilly is still dead."

* Cebulski said the previously announced Dakota North is still in the works.

* Slott said that once Secret Invasion, there will be big changes in the world, including a lot more of Taskmaster in Avengers: The Initiative.

* Slott promised no more web-shooter malfunctions for Spider-Man in the forseeable future.

* Quesada said that Marvel's most recent creative summit was earlier in the week. "I've never seen us so locked and loaded on stuff," he said.

* Asked about why books are late, McCann noted Marvel is aware of problems areas and slots in specials to help keep flows going. He also said Marvel makes an effort not to solicit something until it is ready.

He said bumps of a week or two aren't too concerning, but it becomes a problem when the lateness is a month.

* Quesada said he has an idea for the origin of Santarians from Daredevil: Father and would allow Daredevil writer Ed Brubaker to use the characters.

* Brevoort said there are plans for Young Avengers. He talked to Alan Heinberg just a few days ago, but the project will be done deliberately.

* Swierczynski on the baby in Cable: "If you love the baby, sorry. If you hate the baby, keep reading."

* Quesada said there are no current plans for Man-Thing after the Dead of Night story.

* Alonso said he continues to work with Smokin' Aces' Joe Carnahan in shaping a Taskmaster mini-series.

* Slott said that Hawaiian team for the Initiative will be revealed.

* Asked about the Jeph Loeb/J. Scott Campbell Spider-Man project, Quesada said there is no schedule date but Campbell is "working very hard" and it will be "the definitive Spider-Man."

* John Romita Jr. is slotted for six issues of Amazing Spider-Man, beginning in August.

* Guggenheim said the Amazing Spider-Man writers are no longer tied to artists or story lengths. Slott added one issue will feature three writers.

* Asked about Vengeance showing up in Ghost Rider, Aaron said, "Maybe we'll see a vestige of Vengeance."
