THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ROUNDUP

Kids' WB! has provided The Continuum the schedule of The Spectacular Spider-Man episodes for May, including four premieres.

Following is a rundown:

Saturday, May 3: Repeat of "The Invisible Hand" at 9:30 a.m.; premiere of "Reaction" at 10 a.m.

Saturday, May 10: Repeat of "Catalysts" at 9:30 a.m.; premiere of "The Uncertainty Principle" at 10 a.m.

Saturday, May 17:Repreat of "Natural Selection" at 9:30 a.m.; premiere of "Persona" at 10 a.m.

Saturday, May 24: Repeat of "Market Forces" at 9:30 a.m.; repeat of "Reaction" at 10 a.m..

Saturday, May 31: Repeat of "Competition" at 9:30 a.m.; premiere of "Group Therapy" at 10 a.m.

"Reaction" will involve Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. "The Uncertainty Principle" will involve Green Goblin and astronaut John Jameson. "Persona" introduces Black Cat and kicks the Symbiote story into gear. "Group Therapy" features the Sinister Six -- Doctor Octopus, Electro, Shocker, Vulture, Rhino and Sandman -- and continues the Symbiote arc.

In other Spider-Man news:

* The network has provided The Continuum with three more images from "Catalysts," this Saturday's new episode featuring Green Goblin.

* The final two epsiodes of the first season will deal with Venom.

IRON MAN MOVIE ROUNDUP

Paramount Pictures has announced that it will stage early screenings of the Iron Man movie, beginning Thursday, May 1 at 8 p.m.

Advanced tickets for the film -- which was originally scheduled to open on Friday, May 2 -- are now available through various outlets.

In other Iron Man news:

* Paramount has released a five-minute video from Thursday's premiere event in London. Click on the thumbnail to the right to see the video.

* The Iron Monger suit in the film stands 10 feet tall and weight approximately 800 pounds.

"I love how the Iron Monger suit echoed the Mark I suit," director Jon Favreau. said. "It felt like a machine and a living character at the same time. To see it built in real life was very helpful. I felt the scale of the thing as I stood before it. It was a very successful design and served as a terrific jumping-off point for the animators at ILM."

BRIEFLY

* To the right is a first look at the new psoter for The Dark Knight. Click on the thumbnail for a larger image.

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mekhi Phifer's Facilitator Films is attached to produce Hunter's Moon, a live-action version of James L. White's graphic novel from Boom! Studios. Phifer will be featured in the lead role.

White is in final negotiations to adapt Moon as his first feature screenplay since Ray.

* TBS will air Blade: Trinity at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30.
