Angelina Jolie, who plays Fox in the June 27-releasing Wanted movie, had influence on her character's appearance, including her many tattoos.

"Fox has binary codes on her arm, which is part of a reading of the fabric from the Loom of Fate," Jolie said. "She has 'know your rights' in different languages and 'toil and tears,' which is from a Churchill speech.

"It's things like that that the audience won't notice or pick up, but giving Fox all these tattoos is symbolic of somebody who lives by a certain code of honor."

Jolie's character carries a no-nonsense attitude and an all-encompassing commitment to the Fraternity.

"Fox is a believer in the Code," Jolie said. "I like the fact that she's quite flat, in a way; she just believes in getting on with it and doesnąt really show any emotion.

" However, let's not get too serious about this film -- it's supposed to be a fun movie, but the idea of assassinating one person to save thousands is very interesting."

Wanted director Timur Berkmambetov found Jolie to be a very committed actress.

"She is deep and talented, grounded and specific," he said. "She knows, every second, what she wants to do in the scene. Her viewpoint is very strong, and so you have to understand it. We worked with her on her dialogue, and she really helped to make it stronger. When we first met, we talked about her character. From then on, she was always trying to keep everything in line with what we discussed. A very focused actor."

ABC Family has released more images and a more detailed description from "The Accidental Occidental Conception," the Monday, June 23 episode of The Middleman.

Here's how the episode is described:

"When a Terra Cotta Warrior is brought back to life, The Middleman and Wendy set out to stop him before he can take the last living heir of the Qin dynasty to the land of the dead, releasing a hail of fire that will rain down on the Earth for a thousand years. With some help from fashionista and reformed succubus, Roxy Wasserman, the two must make a daring trip to the underworld to get the deed done. But will Wendy be able to focus on their latest mission, or will the fallout of her argument with Lacey get in the way?

"Still stinging from Wendy's harsh criticisms, Lacey lands herself a job as Roxy's assistant, which tests her activist spirit."

Elaine Hendrix guest-stars.

Todd McFarlane Productions has announced that the new Spawn creative team will feature Image Comics co-founders McFarlane (creative director) and Whilce Portacio (artist) joining returning writer Brian Holguin.

The new creative team's run begins with Spawn #185 in October.

"We've just been talking with everybody involved about what we can do to inspire the readers," McFarlane said. "One of them was to take the book in a different direction in terms of the storyline, and the other was to take it in a bit of a different direction artistically, too."

"Having Todd by my side is fantastic, because he gives me all the texture he's been trying to place in his stories," Portacio said. "As the artist, I get to say, 'Okay, let me grab all of this stuff that's oozing out of your head, and let me see if I could make it visually pleasing.' For me, that is artistic bliss."

McFarlane and Portacio will be guests at Wizard World Chicago.
