THE MIDDLEMAN: "THE FLYING FISH ZOMBIFICATION"

ABC Family has provided The Continuum a description and five images from "The Flying Fish Zombification," the Monday, July 14 episode of The Middleman.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"After a newlywed unfortunately turns into a zombie and attacks her husband on their honeymoon, The Middleman and Wendy are called in to stop the spreading of the disease before there is a nationwide zombie outbreak. After several cries for trout, they soon learn they are hunting not your typical un-dead creatures, but rather trout-eating zombies that have some interesting ties to a new energy drink. Can The Middleman and Wendy put a stop to the energy drink distribution to a caffeine-craving public in time?

"Meanwhile, Lacey and Noser feel abandoned by Wendy after she ditches out on helping set up for their annual Art Crawl exhibition."

WANTED ROUNDUP

Lorna Scott, who plays Wesley Gibson's overbearing boss Janice in Wanted, said she had "great fun" tormenting him and using "every cuss word in the book."

"I'm a bitch and I'm a killer with a stapler," Scott said. "She's a person who is very unhappy with her job, just like he is, and continues to take it out on her employees and him."

Scott said she had great chemistry with James McAvoy in her scenes, which are very comedic and highlight Wesley's status as a loser.

"There's quite a following and we wanted to do the comic book justice," she said.

In other Wanted news:

* Another woman tormenting Wesley in his cheating girlfriend Cathy, played by Kristen Hager.

"I really just want him to pick up the pace in his life, be more of a man and get a raise," Hager said. "He's just depressed and I'm not the right person to inspire him, I think. We shouldn't have been together in the first place, most likely.

"I'm not very nice. But it was a fun role to play."

Hager, who was in last winter's Aliens vs Predator - Requiem, wasn't involved in the action scenes, but praised director Timur Bekmambetov.

"It's a rush watching it," she said. "It's innovation in the sense that it's Timur's first American film and he's going to bring something new to the American action film world."

* Terrence Stamp, who plays Pekwarsky, indicated he would be interested in a sequel. "Hopefully," he said.

Stamp is most remembed by comics fans as General Zod, the big villain in the second Christopher Reeve Superman movie. More recently, he played Stick in Elektra and has provided the voice of Jor-El in The CW's Smallville.
