MORTAL KOMBAT VS. DC UNIVERSE

Midway has announced it will be hosting a Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe panel on Friday, July 25 at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and comics writer Jimmy Palmiotti will talk about the video game.

An exclusive look at gameplay and the unveiling of the key characters will be featured. All panel attendees will receive an exclusive, limited-edition Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Comic-Con 2008 poster.

Midway has also released screenshots and character renders for the game. Click on the thumbnails for larger images.

* Marvel Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Incredible Hercules #118.

The new printing will feature Rafa Sandoval's interior art on the cover and will be in stores on July 23.

* The Incredible Hulk placed third at the box office on Monday with $2.6 million, pushing its total to $99.7 million.

Iron Man placed ninth with $0.5 million, pushing its total to $305.4 million.
