UNIVERSAL LANDS BOOM!'S 2 GUNS

Boom! Studios has teamed for a third time with Universal Studios and Wanted producer Marc Platt, this time for the Steven Grant-created property, 2 Guns.

Co-founders Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie are attached to produce via Boom Entertainment alongside Platt.

The story of 2 Guns follows two thieves targeting a mob bank - unknown to either, they're both undercover agents. They pull off their heist, only to find out they've stolen cash from a CIA black bag operation, not the mob, and are now in over their heads.

2 Guns is the latest Boom! graphic novel set up after the acquisition of North Wind by Davis Entertainment. Cosby and Richie teamed with Universal previously to set up Tag and Talent with Platt. In addition, Paramount picked up the rights to The Foundation, and Ice Cube's CubeVision is adapting big-screen version of the Boom! graphic novel 10 at Dimension as a starring vehicle for the actor.
