SMALLVILLE: SEASON 8

The CW has released a lengthy description of Season 8 of Smallville, including the appearance of several DC Comics characters.

The network confirmed that Justice Leaguers Green Arrow (played by Justin Hartley), Aquaman (Alan Ritchson) and Black Canary (Alaina Huffman) will appear in the season premiere.

In addition to the previously announced Doomsday and Legion of Super Heroes, Plastique and Maxima will appear in Season 8. Plastique is described as "the heroine-to-be with an explosive personality" and Maxima as "the seductive, intergalactic goddess."

TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES -- BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN

Brian Austin Green, who returns as Derek Reese for Season 2 of Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, said he appreciates the fan base the series has already built.

"To go on sites and hear what people are saying and read what they're writing, people are as dedicated to the show as we are making it," Green said.
