SMALLVILLE: JUSTICE LEAGUE

The CW has released images of the three Justice Leaguers who try to rescue Clark in "Odyssey," the season opening episode of Smallville.

Justin Hartley returns as a cast regular this season as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. Alan Ritchson makes his third appearance as Aquaman, having appeared in "Aqua" and "Justice" episodes. Alaina Huffman, a former cast member of Painkiller Jane, returns as Black Canary, having appeared in "Siren."

Here's how the network describes the episode, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 18:

"The Justice League, led by the Green Arrow, hits the Artic in search of Clark, who disappeared after the fortress collapsed. The team immediately has a confrontation with the new CEO of Luthorcorp, Tess Mercer. Meanwhile, Chloe is being held prisoner by a suspicious group who has discovered she has a new power, and Clark has been stripped of his powers by Jor-El."
