SMALLVILLE: "TOXIC"

The CW has released 14 images from "Toxic," the Thursday, Oct. 2 episode of Smallville.

The images show Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen, Sam Witwer as Davis Bloom, Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer and Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan.

The network has yet to release a description of "Toxic," but will likely do so on Friday.

KNIGHT RIDER: "KNIGHT FEVER"

NBC has released a description of "Knight Fever," the Wednesday, Oct. 8 episode of Knight Rider.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Mike (Justin Bruening) must stop the spread of a computer virus that threatens a total global meltdown. The job gets much harder when KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) is infected. Meanwhile, Mike¹s jealousy begins to show when Sarah (Deanna Russo) reconnects with an old flame (guest star Jeffrey Pierce, ³The Nine²), who may be the key to solving the latest mission."

LOCKE & KEY NEW SERIES, COLLECTION

IDW Publishing has announced a January launch for its second Locke & Key series, Head Games.

Writer/creator Joe Hill and artist Gabriel Rodriguez will return for the second series.

Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft, a 152-page hardcover, will collect the first series. It will be in stores on Oct. 1 and will cost $24.99.

Locke & Key has been optioned by Dimension Films.

BRIEFLY

* Fox has released three new promotional images for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

* According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. plans to re-release The Dark Knight in theaters. The move is during the height of Academy Award voting and is geared toward promoting the film for awards.

* Marvel Comics has announced that X-Men: Return of Magik has sold out. The publisher currently has no plans for a second printing.

* A Vigilante series by Marv Wolfman and Rick Leonardi will launch in December from DC Comics.
