FIRST LOOK: ZOMBIE TALES #5

Zombie Tales #5 will arrive in stores on Sept. 17 from Boom! Studios. The issue is written by William Messner-Loebs, Brian Augustyn and Ian Brill, with art by Matt Cossin, Jason Ho and Leno Carvalho and covers by Pablo Quilgotti and Patrick Ballestros.

Here's how Boom! describes the issue:

"Every once in a while an anthology just stumbles onto a theme. It's a happy occurrence. Even though it involves zombies. Writers William Messner-Loebs and Brian Augustyn explore the role of faith and religion in the face of the coming zombie apocalypse!"

FIRST LOOK: ZERO-G #1

Zero-G #1 will arrive in stores on Sept. 17 from Spacedog Entertainment. The issue is written by Alex Zamm, with art and cover by Jason Badower.

Here's how Spacedog describes the issue:

"An international space race ensues when an asteroid containing enough precious metals to shift the balance of power on Earth is detected on a path through our solar system. When the U.S. Team arrives on the asteroid, they discover the remains of an abandoned alien mining camp. Amazing Spider-Girl #25 will arrive in stores on Oct. 6 from Marvel Comics and Colleen Coover and covers by Frenz, Stephanie Buscema and Pat Olliffe.
